Restaurant Manager

Un-Jai Restaurant Inc. o/a Unchai Restaurant is a modern Thai restaurant. We are currently hiring a full-time and permanent Restaurant Manager for our restaurant. (We can consider Part-time as well as Full-time applicants.) Employer: Un-Jai Restaurant Inc. o/a Unchai Restaurant Position: Restaurant Manager Job position available: 1 Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent Work location: 2351 Burrard St., Vancouver, BC, V6J 3J2 Wage & Benefit: $39.00/hr based on 30-40hrs/wk with 4% paid vacation Overtime: Overtime will be provided after 8 hrs/day, or 40 hrs/wk Education: Completion of a college or other program related to hospitality or food and beverage service management is usually required. Experience: Several years of experience in the food service and front-line operations, including supervising and training team members. Language: English Job Description: - Plan, organize, direct and control services offered at restaurant including catering - Manage restaurant operations while maintaining safe working conditions - Prepare staffs’ schedule and monitor staffs’ performance - Monitor inventory to ensure supplies availability and orders stocks - Identify and handle any arising issues with appropriate actions - Resolve any customers’ complaints, and ensure that health and safety rules are upheld - Communicate with the owner & kitchen manager regarding weekly operational status or any unbearable issues - Ensure compliance with company’s policies and procedures - May recruit staffs, provide training and oversee their daily work duties.
